The Environmental Protection Act requires that any equipment, process or structure that discharges contaminants into the atmosphere must be approved by the Ministry of Environment before and construction, alteration, or replacement of the equipment can occur. This includes the release of noise into the surrounding environment as well.

Swallow Acoustic Consultants Ltd (SACL) is able to assist an applicant in obtaining an Certificate of Approval (Air & Noise) through both conducting the required acoustic assessment, and preparing the application for submission.

SACL is looking to hire an engineer experienced in the acoustics, noise and vibration control engineering field.

Requirements are:

1. Designated Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), or eligible for P.Eng. designation, in the Province of Ontario.

2. 5+ years of consulting engineering experience in the acoustics, noise and vibration control engineering field.
